The role

We are delighted to confirm that we are seeking applications for the position of Finance Manager. Based at Dublin Airport and reporting to the Finance Director, this is a full time, permanent role and an excellent opportunity for a finance professional to join a growing business, in a dynamic industry.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop a small team of finance professionals, with oversight of the accounts payable function

  • Manage the month-end close process for three regulated entities (two airlines and a ground handling company)

  • Prepare monthly management accounts, taking ownership of complex accounting areas and including variance analysis and insightful commentary

  • Manage treasury activities, including cash flow forecasting and hedge accounting

  • Provide finance business partner support to heads of department, including Operations, Engineering and Flight Operations

  • Support the annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting and multi-year plan processes, including ad hoc financial analysis

  • Prepare monthly and quarterly reporting for all stakeholders, including directors, shareholders, regulators and finance providers

  • Act as the primary liaison for external auditors, coordinating the audit process, preparing audit deliverables and resolving audit queries in a timely manner

  • Take responsibility for the preparation and filing of Revenue and regulatory returns

  • Champion continuous improvement across finance processes, systems and documentation

About you

The successful candidate will have:

  • A recognised professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)

  • Ideally 5+ years’ post-qualification experience in a similar or related role

  • Proven ability to work independently, take ownership of deliverables and manage competing priorities

  • Strong people management experience, with the ability to develop and motivate a small team

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a good working knowledge of Excel

  • Aviation industry experience is beneficial but not essential
