We are delighted to confirm that we are seeking applications for the position of Finance Manager. Based at Dublin Airport and reporting to the Finance Director, this is a full time, permanent role and an excellent opportunity for a finance professional to join a growing business, in a dynamic industry.
Lead and develop a small team of finance professionals, with oversight of the accounts payable function
Manage the month-end close process for three regulated entities (two airlines and a ground handling company)
Prepare monthly management accounts, taking ownership of complex accounting areas and including variance analysis and insightful commentary
Manage treasury activities, including cash flow forecasting and hedge accounting
Provide finance business partner support to heads of department, including Operations, Engineering and Flight Operations
Support the annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting and multi-year plan processes, including ad hoc financial analysis
Prepare monthly and quarterly reporting for all stakeholders, including directors, shareholders, regulators and finance providers
Act as the primary liaison for external auditors, coordinating the audit process, preparing audit deliverables and resolving audit queries in a timely manner
Take responsibility for the preparation and filing of Revenue and regulatory returns
Champion continuous improvement across finance processes, systems and documentation
The successful candidate will have:
A recognised professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
Ideally 5+ years’ post-qualification experience in a similar or related role
Proven ability to work independently, take ownership of deliverables and manage competing priorities
Strong people management experience, with the ability to develop and motivate a small team
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a good working knowledge of Excel
Aviation industry experience is beneficial but not essential
