Qualifications

Meet the following requirements

  • Hold’s a category B Part-66 aircraft maintenance licence. Endorsed with ATR 72-212A type

  • Have at least 3 years’ work experience in a line maintenance environment

Role

  • Ensure that all specified scheduled line maintenance as per the maintenance schedule, AMOS and the ACE work scope is completed and manpower is planned accordingly.
  • Planning manpower to meet, when possible, all turn around aircraft and perform a walk around inspection and check for open work orders.
  • Ensure spares are ordered for all open HILs and correct troubleshooting carried out to avoid un-necessary extensions.
  • Continuous liaison with the Airworthiness Control Engineer (ACE) throughout the shift to minimize delays to operating schedule.
  • Complete in full the shift diary on AMOS and inform the ACE of all arising defects especially any that reoccur.
  • Ensure all engineers on their shift are aware of any relevant Notices
  • Ensure that all engineers under supervision are working in accordance with the approved maintenance material and that they are familiar with all relevant manufacturer data.
  • The Shift Supervisor is responsible for the time keeping of all engineers on his/her shift.
  • Ensure vehicles and equipment is maintained in a clean and organized condition.
  • Ensure the appearance of all personnel on shift is kept to the highest standard possible i.e. uniform.
  • Consult AMOS on the occurrence of any defect for research purposes to avoid needless component replacements and improve quality of troubleshooting.
  • Ensure that the work areas including offices, break areas and maintenance vehicles are kept in a clean and tidy condition.
  • Ensure all tooling is returned to tool stores at the end of shift and that AMOS is updated to reflect current location.
  • Ensure the tooling area is kept in a clean condition and any breakages are repaired or reordered as necessary.
  • Ensure all ground equipment is secure and refuelled prior to end of shift.
  • Ensure the cold weather program is implemented when required.
  • Ensure high winds procedure is put in place when required.
  • Inform the LMM if any engineer is not carrying out his/her duties as requested by the Shift Supervisor or ACE.
  • During shift overlaps the early shift supervisor remains in charge of the station until the end of his shift.
  • Ensure technical delay reports are entered into Event Tracking when required as soon as possible after the delay has occurred.
  • The Shift Supervisor is responsible for requesting P.P.E for their shift.
  • Ensure shift team are using/wearing P.P.E that is provided by the company at all times.
