We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Ramp Coordinator to take ownership of the day-to-day operational control of our Dublin Airport Station.

Reporting to the Dublin Station Manager, the Ramp Coordinator is responsible for the effective coordination and oversight of all ground handling activities, ensuring the safe, efficient, and on-time operation of flights. Acting as the central point of operational control for the Dublin Station, you will coordinate resources, manage stakeholders, oversee performance, and drive operational excellence across all areas of the ground handling operation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain overall operational control of the Dublin Station ground handling operation.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for all ground handling activities, ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of services.

  • Coordinate all operational stakeholders to ensure the smooth turnaround of aircraft and on-time performance.

  • Ensure effective communication and coordination between Ground Operations, OCC, Flight Operations, Cabin Crew, Engineering, Catering, Fuelling, Airport Authorities and third-party service providers. 

  • Represent Ground Handling at daily operational meetings and stakeholder forums.

  • Manage and distribute operational flight messages, including:

- MVT messages (Arrivals and Departures)

- Delay updates

- Estimated departure notifications

- Next Information Messages (NI)

  • Prepare and submit delay reports for affected flights.

  • Update Airport Collaborative Decision Making (ACDM) milestones including TOBT and associated operational updates.

  • Coordinate stand and gate allocations with airport stakeholders.

  • Ensure the effective allocation and utilisation of staff and Ground Support Equipment (GSE).

  • Monitor operational requirements and adjust resource allocation to meet changing demands.

  • Coordinate service delivery requirements including:

 - Boarding

 - Coaching

 - Fuelling

 - PRM services

 - Aircraft turnaround activities

  •  Manage staff attendance, absence reporting and timekeeping standards.

  •  Ensure all Ground Support Equipment maintenance activities are scheduled, assigned and completed.

  •  Conduct inspections of aircraft turnarounds and GSE, reporting and recording any unserviceable equipment.

  •  Perform weekly ballast checks in accordance with company procedures.

  •  Complete daily flight allocations and operational resource planning.

  •  Produce daily operational reports covering performance, delays, trends and operational issues.

  •  Promote and maintain the highest standards of safety, compliance and operational performance.

  •  Carry out any other duties as reasonably assigned by the Dublin Station Manager.

Requirements

  •  Previous aviation experience within Ramp Operations, Ground Handling or Airport Operations.

  •  Strong organisational and coordination skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

  •  Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

  •  Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365.

  •  Ability to work independently and make sound operational decisions under pressure.

  •  Strong attention to detail and time management skills.

  •  Full clean driving licence valid for use in the Republic of Ireland.

  •  Fluent English, both written and verbal.

  •  Eligibility to work in the Republic of Ireland.

  •  Valid unrestricted passport.

  •  Ability to successfully complete a 5-year background check.
